UK fluid ounces are used in the United Kingdom for measuring liquids. One UK fluid ounce is about 28.41 milliliters. It is important to note that UK fluid ounces differ slightly from US fluid ounces, with one UK fluid ounce being equal to 1.04 US fluid ounces.
Liters
A Liter is a metric volume unit equal to 1,000 cubic centimeters, 1 cubic decimeter or 33.814 fluid ounces in the imperial system. The volume is equivalent to a cube with 10cm on each of its sides.
Liters as a measurement unit can be traced back to the French revolution and the start of the metric system. Metric measurements created a standardized and decimal system of measures that would be easy to use.
