Megaelektronvolt

Een megaelectronvolt (MeV) is een eenheid van energie die wordt gebruikt in de deeltjes- en kernfysica. Het is afgeleid van de elektronvolt (eV) - de hoeveelheid kinetische energie die een elektron wint of verliest wanneer het door één volt beweegt.

Calorieën (thermisch)

Een thermochemische calorie, vaak afgekort als cal_th, is een energie-eenheid die voornamelijk wordt gebruikt in het vakgebied van de chemie.
