An electron-volt (eV) is used in the fields of atomic and particle physics. It is the amount of energy gained or lost by a single electron when it is accelerated through an electric potential difference of one volt.
Megawatt-hours
A megawatt-hour (MWh) is the amount of energy consumed when one megawatt (MW) of power is used for one hour. It is used to measure large-scale energy production or consumption such as power plants.
